In this program, you will read some descriptive texts. A descriptive text gives you a picture in writing of a person, an object or a place. This time, we will focus on descriptions of people and things.
A description consists of two parts, identification and description. In identification, the writer identifies the person he wants to talk about. In description, the writer gives more detailed information about that person, for example, his body parts or his characters.

Ufa is my classmate in Year seven at SMPN 13 Jakarta. She sits at the same desk with me. In class, we belong to the same study group. During the break, we often spend our time together. And then we become good friends.
Ufa is twelve years old now. She is tall and beautiful. Her hair is long and straight. She has big round eyes. Her dimples make her look even more beautiful.
Everybody likes Ufa. Our teachers are very proud of her because she is good at Mathematics, English, and Science. My friends and I often ask for her helps to solve math problems.
